Rhythms of Life - A benefit dance show
Rhythms of Life is a celebration of human emotions and feelings through the form of dance... We have brought together artists and performers from a diverse variety of dancing disciplines, like Indian classical and contemporary forms as well as various forms of Flamenco, Tap and Spanish classical dance styles. At Amrita-Seattle we have high goals; we aim to bring back hope to the lives of those who do not get adequate amount of support and attention through government agencies, larger non-profits or other programs. Its an endeavor to bring back the sense of rhythm in their lives, hence the name of the show. Our performers, who have graciously partnered with us for this event, bring with them years of expertise and innovation in their chosen dance forms and styles and it is a pleasure for us to be associated with them.
1. From Within Academy (www.fromwithinnucleus.org): FWA trains young & young at heart individuals in Bharatanatyam (an Indian Classical Dance form). A group of passionate and well-trained dancers form it's core team & believe that Bharatanatyam is a way of life, joy and celebration that should be shared with others. We'd love to have you there at the show to transform a fine summer evening to a magical one. |
